This January we'll be launching our third Kickstarter project, D&D Class Dice! We found for our F*ck Dice that Kickstarter was the perfect way to gauge interest and allow you lovely people to customize your orders ahead of time for our unique sets, so we're running it back for our most ambitious dice-project yet! Below we'll go over the sets we're offering, and tier-backing details. If you've ever wanted to pair your D&D dice with your character's class, keep reading or sign up to get notified at launch!

Design Principles

We want these dice to be unique, while staying specific to the class they represent. To achieve those goals we've gone with pastel colors to stand out from the general bright, pop-style dice, and chosen icons that refer to specific parts of the class they're designed for. All of this is wrapped in a transparent resin to make it all easy to see and eye-catching. Check out all the images here!

The Three Starter Sets

Because of how production works for this type of dice we are essentially creating 12 completely unique dice sets, not 1 dice set in 12 different styles. That means we are looking at some very significant costs, so instead of trying to fund all sets in one go we're starting with just 3 sets, and unlocking a new class with each new stretch goal. Our first three sets will be:

Fighter

The most popular D&D class and one of the most fun to play, we've designed the Fighter dice to encapsulate the versatility of these martial characters. We've included a wide variety of weapons and armor that you might find while kitting up your fighter, on a background of reddish silver, as though blood had been worked into the metal as a suit of armor was forged.

Wizard

From wands to staffs to cauldrons and spellbooks, these arcane focuses are the highlight of this dice set. They remind the player of the source of their power: the Weave. Spellcasters will be reminded of the arcane with the vibrant pastel blue background, as vivid as the spells they weave with their Wizards.

Rogue

As dark and mysterious as the average rogue, these dice feature icons of knives in the dark, hooded cloaks and lockpicks. These are as much the tools of a rogue's trade as the dark itself, the background they exist upon. This set is one of my personal favorites of these Class dice sets.

Kickstarter Details

As mentioned this campaign is bigger than our previous one, so here are the tier breakdowns so you know what to expect. We've also laid out the stretch goals so you know when to expect your favorite class to be unlocked as we go.

Tiers

We have 7 tiers for this Kickstarter. The first gives you a reward of 1d20 of your choice, then we have a reward for a 7 piece set, an 11 piece, then multiple 11 piece sets all the way up to 12. This allows you to back at a tier that works for you, which may be a dice set for every D&D class!

Fear not! We're also going to have a plethora of add-ons, so if you want a number of sets somewhere between tiers, or if you want some additional individual d20s, amongst other things (d6s, the custom adventure, dice trays, and more) you'll be able to snag them before the Kickstarter ends.

Stretch Goals

All 12 of the base classes can be unlocked as the Kickstarter goes along and stretch goals are passed. Here is the order of stretch goals:

Cleric -> Barbarian -> Paladin -> Ranger -> Warlock -> Monk -> Sorcerer -> Bard -> Druid

Then we have three additional stretch goals for class-specific dice bags, class specific dice trays, and class specific inspiration coins.
